Brief

Tiny Spoon Chef is a personalized meal service founded by Janice Carte, dedicated to creating nourishing, thoughtfully prepared food for families and individuals right in their home. Her philosophy celebrates fresh, seasonal ingredients and the joy of shared meals. 

For this brand photo shoot, we handmade multiple backdrops, including two whimsical sets with grapes suspended on clotheslines, and a wall of tiny spoons curated from Janice’s personal collection from around the world. In collaboration with Helios Floral in Salem, MA, we turned produce into artistry, using beautiful vegetable pieces as sculptural elements. Each set and each piece was designed to feel intentional and tactile.

Janice’s beloved Yorkie, Noodle, made plenty of appearances, adding warmth and personality to the frames. Janice’s wardrobe of flowy, gemstone-colored dresses and tailored pants suits, in addition to her colleagues cheeky-worded tees, highlighted the team’s confidence and fun-loving vibes.

Originally given a one-hour session as the winner of our annual Everytown fundraiser raffle, Janice chose to extend the shoot to four hours allowing us to capture a richer story of her evolution from chef to business mogul.
